Please note that Airdrie, Aberdeen, Dumbarton, Fort William, Glasgow, Hamilton, Kirkwall, Lanark, Paisely and Wick Sheriff and Justice of the Peace Courts, Glasgow High Court and Tribunals Edinburgh and Hamilton will be closed for local public holidays on Monday 28 September.

Due to the pandemic, the Supreme Courts have taken this years Doors Open Days event online, with a range of fun, interactive activities, including an escape room, choose-your-own adventure mysteries, jigsaws, and a historic crime and punishment quiz.

New rules will come into force on 1 December 2020 which will make electronic submission of simple procedure cases mandatory.

Ayr, Campbeltown Edinburgh, Jedburgh, Kilmarnock, Livingston, Selkirk and Stornoway Sheriff and Justice of the Peace Courts, Supreme Court and Judicial Office and Tribunals Edinburgh will be closed for local public holidays on Monday 21 September.

We have been informed that some members of the public have received scam emails purporting to be about jury citation and fixed penalty notices.
