Please note new court fees apply from 1 April 2024

The list below shows the fees that are charged for applications and stages of procedure in the Justice of the Peace Court. If you require further information, you should contact your local Justice of the Peace Court.

JP Court Fees

Copying

Fee payable from 1st April 2024:

Copying of -
(a) each document, up to 10 pages - £8
(b) each further page or part thereof - 0.50p
(c) each document in electronic form - £8

Applications for Utility Warrants

Fee payable from 1st April 2024:

£13

Searches

Fee payable from 1st April 2024:

Any search of records, or archives -
Per 30 minutes or part thereof  - £14
In addition, correspondence fee where applicable - £14

Petition for Removal of Disqualification

Fee payable from 1st April 2024

Application under section 49 of the Civic Government (Scotland) Act 1982

Fee payable from 1st April 2024:

Application for an order in respect of dangerous and annoying creatures:
