Information on how to access judgments published prior to 2017.
This is a new website, launched in July 2024. You can search on judgments published from 2017 onwards here.
We are continuing to migrate judgments published prior to 2017 as fast as possible. In the meantime, these can be accessed via the National Records of Scotland (NRS) archive.
Note the NRS archive is a copy of the old SCTS website content. It does not allow for technical functionality such as keyword search. Please use keyboard shortcut Ctrl+F to search for specific records.
For completeness we have made all records of judgments available on the NRS archive, including pre and post 2017 records.
The archive is split by date range due to the volume of records.

We continue to make improvements on how judgments are displayed informed by your feedback.
Our latest release in October 2024 includes the following improvements: Keyword search enabled, filter options auto populated as entered by user and query string enabled, allowing you to bookmark your search and filter preferences.
