Restrictions on the reporting of court proceedings

Members of the press should note that among the items to be published will be Orders made by courts imposing restrictions on the reporting of court proceedings. These will include:

  • Orders made under Section 46(1) of the Children and Young Persons (Scotland) Act 1937
  • Orders made under Section 4(2) and Section 11 of the Contempt of Court Act 1981
