Parliamentary questions and responses from 2023

What is a parliamentary question?

Parliamentary questions can be asked by any MSP to the Scottish Government/Executive or the Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body. The text of all Scottish parliamentary questions and answers are available on the Scottish Parliament Website.

Where a Parliamentary Question relates to operational matters that are the responsibility of the Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service Corporate Body, the Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service will issue a reply and copies of those are listed below.

Questions and responses

  • S6W-21993 - To ask the Scottish Government whether it will provide an update on what steps have been taken to bring domestic abuse courts to the Highlands and Islands.
  • S6W-20626 - To ask the Scottish Government how many evictions the Scottish Courts and Tribunal Service has recorded in each quarter since April 2022 as a result of a property being sold by a lender, including where the property is a tenanted property or the landlord's own property.
  • S6W-13395 - To ask the Scottish Government what the cost to the Scottish Courts and Tribunal Service has been of non-attendance at court hearings by all parties, in each year since 2016-17.
